On Monday 19th May 2014 Stikkyfingers went into the local recording studio at Hull College http://www.hull-college.ac.uk/pamm/music.
We recorded 9 songs in all including:-
Wild Horses
Brown Sugar
Honky Tonk Women
Jumping Jack Flash
Miss You
Respectable
Just My Imagination
Not Fade Away
You Can’t Always Get What You Want.
Each of these songs was recorded in one take with everybody playing ‘live’ in the same room. This gives a much more ‘live’ feel to the songs and I can see why this recording method is popular with the Rolling Stones and many other bands.
We had Gus Ridley on Bass, Phil Bean on Drums, Mike Morgan on lead guitar and myself on vocals, Harmonicas and rhythmn guitar.
This week (w/c 16 June 2014) we will be adding some more tracks to the mix down, so we should have some finished songs in a week or two.
You can find us on Facebook here
The final remixed version of our ‘Live in the Studio’ CD is now available for download. Please email us here if you would like a free copy!!!!!

Hi, I’d love to access your live recordings, but what I would really like is to book the band for a gig in Lockington Village Hall near Beverley.
Can someone reply with contact details to i.gaydon@btinternet.com
